Boarding up after flying trampoline smashes window during Storm Arwen.November 29th 2021

Called at at 2am on Saturday morning. Customers says ‘a trampoline is sticking into my lounge through the window- come and board it up as soon as you can please!`.  I explained I was based in Swansea and it would take around 40 minutes to get there. I jumped in the van and headed for Carmarthen immediately. When I arrived at the village, a massive ash tree was laying accross the main road with council workmen cutting it up to clear the road.  I turned round and took a 5 mile detour to avoid the blocked road. As I arrived at the property, the fire service were breaking the trampoline into small pieces with their hydraulic cutters to prevent it flying into someone else`s property.  In very windy conditions the window was boarded up in 40 minutes.  After a nice cup of coffee and some chocolate biscuits, I left around 5am.  A very busy day of boarding up smashed windows followed.  Our 24 hour locksmith, glazing and boarding service was certainly a welcome sight for many customers that day!
